What Garnold looks like

Garnold is a gold-coloured character in a sleek high-tech suit with a black mouthpiece and a black-and-gold visor. A cyan beam glows from the visor during his animations, and although he is often mistaken for a robot, his profile calls him a stylish, futuristic character instead.

Garnold's sound

Garnold is one of the Effects characters in Sprunki. In a mix, Garnold adds the effect layer, so the loop changes the moment Garnold is placed on or taken off the stage. He plays the effect layer, made from synth notes, and his profile lists his loops in the E4 to F#5 range. His sound is melodic without being the main tune, so it thickens the track and adds sparkle rather than carrying the song. Turn him up for a bright, electronic feel.

What sound does Garnold make?

Garnold is part of the Effects group and plays the effect layer part of a mix. Drag Garnold onto a performer slot in any of the games below to hear it.

Garnold in Horror Mode

In Horror Mode the visor glow is gone and his features are pushed into a colder, darker shape wrapped in shadow. His music switches to kalimba-like tones in a minor key, which is why his horror form sounds sad rather than simply loud.

Mix ideas with Garnold

Pair him with Clukr, his closest creative partner, so the cymbals add rhythm on top of Garnold's synth layer and the mix sounds busy and bright. Pair him with Durple so his short synth notes answer Durple's trumpet melody, which gives the tune a call-and-response feel.

Garnold profile notes

These notes come from Garnold's character profile on sprunki.com; they describe the character's story background, not something you can check in the game. Birthday: June 21; described as intelligent, inventive and cooperative. He created Fun Bot and Mr. Fun Computer together with Clukr. His visor feature is shared with Fun Bot, and he was introduced as the eighth character.
