Sprunki Stories

Reading the stories without mixing up canon and fanon

Story pages here exist because the games show less than the community talks about. Two things are kept apart on purpose. The first is what you can see in a build: which characters appear, how Horror Mode changes them, what the phase labels say, and which game a scene comes from. The second is what fans built on top of that: relationships, ages, origin theories, alternate universes, and original characters. A page that blurs the two is worse than a short page, because a reader cannot tell which claim they can check.

If you are new, read in this order. Start with Sprunki Lore for the shape of the world the games present, then Canon vs Fanon to learn how the site labels the difference, then Horror Mode because the darker state is the single most discussed topic and the most misrepresented. Readers who want the version history rather than the story should use Phase Timeline alongside the phase pages.

Where a story stops and a game starts

Each story page ends by listing the playable builds where its characters actually appear, because a story claim is easier to judge while the game is open. That is also why story pages do not invent scenes: when the games do not show something, the page marks it as fan interpretation instead of writing it as fact. Creators looking for help writing their own version should start with the AU and OC guides, which explain what the wiki treats as an addition rather than a discovery.

Get more out of a story page

Open the game first and read the story second. Almost every page here describes something visible, so having the build on screen turns a claim you have to take on trust into something you can check in a few seconds. That habit also answers the questions readers send most often: whether a detail is real, whether a character appears in a specific version, and whether two versions of a scene come from the same build.

Telling a documented detail from a popular theory

Three phrases mark the difference while you read. When a page says a detail comes from the games, it means the roster, tray, phase label, or scene can be observed by opening the build. When it names a community source, the source is listed so you can judge it yourself. When it says fanon, AU, or theory, nothing in the games confirms it, and the page is describing what the community writes rather than what a player can see. If those labels ever look wrong on a page, that is worth reporting, because the labelling is the part of this wiki with the least room for interpretation.
